Beck Wants You To Sacrifice Your Car To Fight Education
Glenn Beck, the multi-millionaire who loves his country so much he’d cry for it, has a new sacrifice he wants viewers to make on behalf of his latest war. You may recall he recently suggested his audience should sacrifice their fortunes and maybe their lives (but God, he hopes it doesn’t come to that) to fight the threats from progressives.
Do you even watch his shows? No. He never said anything about sacrificing fortunes. Yes, he suggests that you understand you can’t live beyond your own means, and unfortunately that means not getting that regular mani/pedi, or buying that high-ticket item that would require a down payment that equals more than what you take home in a year.
When he talks about sacrfices, and maybe even your own lives..he’s talking about going out there and fighting for freedom. Which sometimes means taking the day off of work, or sacrificing that night on the town. Hate to break the shocking news, but hundreds of thousands of Americans are making these sacrifices every day because they know that is how you are going to survive this recession; not because Glenn Beck told you so, but because their families and their homes mean a lot more than holding on to some lofty liberal dream that the government is going to save the day.
